Hello, today is a typical day in the Neitzke household. Jeff is playing a random Steel Drum gig in some random place in Ohio that will keep him pretty late. I take a break from schoolwork and Sneakers, the cat, lays arounds as usual. Now, let me tell you where the head of the household Jackson Thomas is.....well, it's his bedtime and he is upstairs sleeping and snuggling his favorite animal, "Bear." The picture to left is an older picture of Daddy and Jack, but it is one of my favorites! Jeff's Dad used to play guitar for him when he was young too.

Here is our dining room and living room. I should say here is Jack's dining room and living room as you can see from the pictures he owns pretty much everything, including Mama and Daddy but we certainly don't mind. His activities include: playing with his Playskool Gears machine for hours upon hours, climbing the stairs and playing with the light switch (the "on/off" game), chasing Sneakers while giggling, doing puzzles (he can actually do them by himself!), making splashes in the tub, making faces ("crinkle" face will be posted later), playing patty cake (he likes to motion out "mark it with a b"), Itsy Bitsy Spider, "So big," laughing, yelling, and general chatter amongst other things.

You can see his Mickey plane. Jack likes when Jeff and I take him for rides on it around the house. He absolutely loves pushing the buttons and watching the foam propellers move. This was a great first birthday gift from Aunt Donna and Aunt Chrissy and families. This summer we plan to travel to Chicago to celebrate the marriage of my brother-in-law, Jeremey, to his wife, Tonia. They were married in Mozambique and Jeff was fortunate enough to go with and take part in the two and half day celebration. They really know how to party over there! For Jeremey's family in Chicago they will have a reception. We look forward to being in Chi town again. I could especially use the break since I am taking a five week condensed statistics course for my first class back to school...ugh!

Here is Jack's puzzle and train station...the quilt it sits upon is made by Gramma Jacki - she is a very talented artist! I scored a great deal on the hooked on phonics toddler series (its in the background - that's why I mentioned it!). Now, if we could just get Jack to stay still while we read to him more often! Okay one more picture of the little critter and i am done for the evening!

This little Argyle sweater was a birthday gift from Uncle Tom and Aunt Jodi....aww!
